when Duke Teodoro Lopes, by a deed dated November 3, 1471, from the Archimandrite Abbot Paolo Greco, notarized at the Notary De Angelis, was received into the Casale of San Demetrio, with the right to cultivate its lands.

L'Extravergine Notturno from Organic Farming is deep golden yellow with delicate green highlights, clear. The nose is broad and enveloping, with fruity hints of unripe tomato and almond, complemented by aromatic notes of basil and mint. Fine and complex in the mouth, it adds vegetal tones of artichoke and chicory, lettuce and celery. Distinct bitterness and spiciness well expressed and harmonious. Goes well with bruschetta with tomato, swordfish carpaccio, artichoke salads, tuna marinades, bean soups, risotto with porcini mushrooms, boiled octopus, baked poultry or pork, medium-aged cheeses.
